Marketing Dive

This report offers insights from Imagine’s survey of in-store marketers to help retailers understand how others are setting and implementing goals as well as the challenges they face.

About the Project

As part of an ongoing partnership, Marketing Dive (part of Industry Dive) engaged Final Draft Communications (FDC) to develop a survey report for its client, Imagine.

Situation: The Imagine team wanted to report the findings of its survey of in-store marketing professionals, to help retailers understand how others are setting and implementing goals as well as the challenges they face. FDC had previously developed the questions for the survey, so was familiar with the topic and possible results.

Solution: FDC met with representatives from Marketing Dive and Imagine to flesh out the direction and subtopics for the report. We submitted a detailed outline, reviewed and analyzed survey results, and performed external research. We wrote the report based on information extracted from these activities.

Outcome: Readers of the report get a thorough description of survey results, including the primary goals of in-store marketers, the methods they are using to meet those goals, the challenges they are facing, and the types of solutions they’re using to address the challenges. The report is full of data findings from the survey as well as expert commentary from Imagine representatives. Imagine gets exposure on a widely read and highly regarded industry site (Marketing Dive). The company demonstrates thought leadership on this topic and prompts readers to consider its services. Marketing Dive benefits from a high-quality ebook that helps attract new clients.

“With so many brands seeking to increase in-store sales, it is unsurprising that survey respondents indicated improved customer experience (53%) and improved customer knowledge (47%) as the results they most wanted from in-store programs that have not yet been achieved or prioritized.”
