About the Project
As part of an ongoing partnership, Guidehouse Insights — the research arm of consulting firm Guidehouse — engaged Final Draft Communications (FDC) to develop a detailed report about the current state of the vertical farming technology market. The Guidehouse Insights team required input from multiple subject matter experts from various industry segments; detailed descriptions of market drivers and barriers, relevant technology, regional trends across the globe, and market leaders; and forecasts for the next 10 years broken out by industry segment.
FDC identified key market elements and submitted a detailed outline, which was readily accepted by the Guidehouse Insights team. We sought out industry experts, conducted interviews, and developed descriptions of industry leaders. We conducted additional research to thoroughly understand the technology and industry trends. Based on the interviews and research, we developed the forecasts and wrote the report.
The report, titled “Vertical Farming – Lighting, Services and Infrastructure, Water Delivery and Recovery Systems, and Controls: Global Market Analysis and Forecasts,” explains what vertical farming is, the technology used, and the likely need for that technology over the next 10 years.
